A lot of Vietnamese places do either Phở good and Bún not so great or vice versa. This place does everything fantastic. Phở Hùng is one of my two favorite Phở places in Portland. The food is authentic and fresh, has lots of flavor, and the portions are just right. The service here is good, and the prices are very reasonable. Another bonus is that they have their own parking lot, which is a major bonus in a big city like Portland.

Phở Jasmine - On N Killingsworth St in Portland, OR
This was my favorite Phở place in Portland for a long time. It's been bumped down a few slots, but it's still toward the top of my list. The Gỏi Cuốn (Rice Paper Rolls: shrimp, bean sprout, cilantro, lettuce, rice noodle, and peanut sauce) the Phở, the Hot Pot, and the Bún are all very good. I personally think that they do Phở better than Bún.
- Parking is a major hassle in the area
- The place is clean enough, I guess
- The staff is very friendly
- I got my food in a reasonable amount of time
- The prices are reasonable

Hanoi Kitchen - On NE Glisan St in Portland, OR
There are two Vietnamese places in Portland that contend for the pedestal of being called the best in my mind. Hanoi Kitchen is one of them, Pho Hung on SE Powell Blvd is the other. The food at Hanoi Kitchen is authentic and delicious. The presentation is fantastic, the ingredients are fresh and cooked very well, and the portions are the perfect size. Additionally, the place is very clean and the staff is extremely friendly. Our waitress even brought us some complimentary Asian apples from a tree that she said is growing behind the restaurant.

Got Phở? - On NE Sandy Blvd in Portland, OR
There are a lot of Vietnamese places around Portland, but this is one of the better bowls of Pho that the city has to offer. The broth is very good and the meat is tender. I asked them to add some veggies and it was worth it. The service was great, the place was clean, and the size of the bowl was perfect. Some places offer huge bowls as a gimmick to draw you in, but it ends up being too much for me to enjoy. Other places fill the bowl with rice noodles and very little of anything else. Not Got Pho?, this place has it figured out!

Phở Broadway - On NE Broadway in Portland, OR
I have mixed feelings about this place. The food was good but not great and the service wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. I was listening to some other customers complain about having to wait so long, but I really didn't have to. The thing that bothered me and made it difficult to enjoy the food was the smell in the restaurant. It is... unpleasant. I kept trying to think of something to compare it to while I waited for my food, but I couldn't think of anything. It's musty though, like they need to open some windows and the door and air it out. I won't go back just because of the smell.

Mekong - Sellwood/Moreland area (SW 13th ave) in Portland, OR
Sellwood is a really cool part of town with lots of cool little places to eat and things to do. There are little neighborhoods that explode into centers of fun. I was really excited to try Mekong because I like Vietnamese food. Unfortunately it wasn’t as good as I had hoped. It was good and the food was fresh, but I expected more. I will go back to try the Phở because the bowl was huge and the broth smelled really good. I’ll let you know how it goes.

Toast & Pho - Near the corner of NW 21st and Burnside in Portland, OR
This place has good location and is reasonably priced but the Pho is not amazing. I would go back if I was in the area and wanted Pho, but I'm not looking for an excuse to rush back. There are a lot of places to get better Pho in Portland.
