India Palace - Downtown, near the corner of Court and Liberty in Salem, OR

The buffet food was mediocre and there wasn't much selection. The Palak Paneer, Chicken Tandoori, Gajar Halwa, and the eggs were the best of what the buffet here had to offer. Everything was lacking in flavor though, including the fruit. I was most disappointed in the Pakora. It's one of my favorites of Indian cuisine and it was a let down here. Despite all of that criticism, I "liked" the place on Urbanspoon for two reasons: 1. Because it is very inexpensive, and for what you pay, it's pretty good food, 2. It's in Salem, OR and I'm grateful to get what they are offering when I don't want to drive hours to get something better.

Swagat Indian Cuisine - On the corner of NW Lovejoy and 21st in Portland, OR

This buffet is delicious! The selection is great because it offers a array of flavors and textures that all work great together, regardless of what you put on your plate. The only problem is that it's SO delicious that I have NO self control, so by the time that I finally stop eating, I can hardly move and I just want to sleep for a day or two. The price is right though, and the place is clean. The staff is very friendly and the service was good.

Bombay House - On University Ave. in Provo, UT

This is a small-town treasure. I highly recommend it to anyone that enjoys Indian food and is in the area. The first time I had Indian food was here, and I had the Lamb Saag. It was fantastic then and there, and is still one of my favorite dishes.
