#1 Bento, Korean BBQFood carts on 9th and Washington to 10th and Alder in Portland, OR

(This place is on 10th, near the corner of 10th and Alder)

Whenever I’m in the mood for curry, this is usually where I go. Not only do I get the curry that I’m craving (and a lot of it), but it comes with Chicken Katsu and Kimchi as well!! I would like to try something else that they sell, but I like the curry so much that I can’t bring myself to do it. I love this cart and will keep going back.

Edelweiss Sausage Company & Delicatessen - On 12th Ave, off SE Powell Blvd, just after you cross the Ross Island Bridge in Portland, OR.

This place is pretty great. They have a fantastic deli, and in the back corner, they have some frying sausages and such. It’s reasonably priced and really good. If you’re in the mood for a sausage, I recommend it.

Frying ScotsmanFood carts on 9th and Washington to 10th and Alder in Portland, OR

(This place is about half way between Washington and Alder on 9th)

I met my brother one day at the carts and we both wanted fish and chips, so we hunted around and found a food cart that had it. My brother lived in England for a couple years, and I lived in Australia for a couple years, and every time we have fish and chips, we compare them to England and Australia’s fish and chips. It’s hard to find anything in the states that compares, but this was pretty good stuff. The guy that works there is from somewhere in or around England and his accent made me a little more confident. The batter he uses is unique and I’m not sure what he puts in it, but it’s good stuff. The french fries were sweeter than I expected, almost like sweet potato fries, but I don’t think they were. I would go back again if I was in the mood for fish and chips.

Movie - The Ceremony (2008)

This is a fantastic movie. It is not a big budget film, and it does not have a bunch of blood and guts or annoying cheerleaders. If you liked Paranormal Activity, I recommend this. I actually liked it better. At first the small-budget feel made me nervous, like maybe it wouldn't be worth my time, but it was well worth my time and I intend to watch it again and again.

The main character walks into his roommates’ room and finds that his roommate started a ceremony and left it in progress. His curiosity and disbelief in the paranormal leads him into the downward spiral that is the plot.
